A "Taking It Easy" Saturday
Bunnies! I Dare You to Show Your Face!
We had a nice relaxing Saturday here. Uncle Steve said I was peddling in my sleep on his lap. I must have been dreaming about the bunnies. I know they are there, but I can't get at them. If it weren't for the darn leash, I bet I could crawl through that hole and scare a few up. Yep, that is what I was dreaming about. Aunt Kathy was about to put me in the bath tub when I woke up. Good thing I woke up. She wasn't very happy about how dirty I got. I guess now I understand why I am on the leash in the backyard. A dream bath is better than a real bath any day.
Uncle Steve was reading a really big book, so I could sleep in his lap for awhile, then sleep on the floor when I got too warm, then go get a drink of water, then get back in Uncle Steve's lap, and repeat the cycle all over again. For variety, I would look out the back window sometimes. I have decided that rainy days have their advantages.
See you soon. Love,
The Speckster

Hi Speck,
We took a very slow train to Naples today. Never quite figured out why, but it took a long time to get there. They have an Archeological Museum here that has a bunch of mosaics, frescoes, statues and glassware and pottery from the ruins at Pompeii. It was really neat! They even have a "naughty" room where you can see ancient porno. We went into the room, it was very educational.
We also stopped at the main Piazza in Naples at a Pastry shop and tried a local pastry called a Sfogliatella. Good thing you can just point at it and say "uno" or we'd still be there trying to order one. It was a really good kind of Phyllo pastry in the shape of a seashell with tons and tons of layers of pastry and then filled with a yummy cream filling. We also saw the first fat dog of our trip. He was sleeping (you guessed it) right outside of the Pastry Shop. Smart dog!
Tonight we're going to have Neapolitan pizza (when in Rome...Right?, well Naples). We're supposed to get in tomorrow around 3:15, so tell U.S. that if he wants to leave you at his house, we'll just stop over when we get back. That way he can see you after work and he won't have to carry all the stuff over by himself.
We'll talk to you soon.
Love Mom and Dad.
P.S. Try to stay clean for U.S. and A.K. between now and when we get home. Tubbies aren't very fun. Stick to the dream bunny chasing like U.S. likes. Hope the weather gets nicer soon!
