Did I Mention That I Like Treats?

See Speck Beg. See Speck Not Roll Over. See Speck Play Dead. (Kind of)

Uncle Steve thought that you would like to see a video of me begging for food. I tried to convince him just to give me the food without the begging, but he insisted that you would rather see me work for my treats. Oh, what the heck. A treat is a treat, and I really do look cute.

Another quite day in Minnesota after all that yucky snow yesterday. It got up to the mid 40's today, so a lot of it melted. There probably will not be much left by the time you get back. Aunt Kathy just got back from aerobics, and Uncle Steve is about to go do his work out at that fancy club where they provide the towels. I will probably do some more hippo and hedge hog hunting, followed by some quality lap time. As you can see in the photo below, I am still as cute as when you left.

Love,

The Speckster

Hi, Speck,
You were just too bouncy to do a "sit" and I've definitely seen you do a better dead dog imitation. Looks like you are having a great time while momma and papa are gone. Go easy on the hippo.
Love,
Gogi

Hi Speck,

Hi Speck. Tell US thanks for the video! Tell US that because you're so delicate, you won't roll over on hard surfaces. We don't blame you, momma's a princess too!

Your begging trained us for being here. Everytime somebody speaks to you (sort of exagerrating) they ask for a "Baksheesh" or tip i.e. People Treat. Just like you, it can get a little tiring after awhile, but we still haven't met any mean or surly people here, so it's a pretty good trade.

Today we went to Karnak temple and Luxor Temples. We met a nice guide who is bringing us to the Valley of the Kings tomorrow. He seems to know his stuff and says he was/is an archeologist and has a card to prove it! Although....He did flash it pretty quick.

Got an early wakeup tomorrow, so should probably get going. Be nice for AK and US and get over to the rug and roll over!

P.S. We met a horse named Susie today who pulls a caleche or carriage (we rode in it) she gets to poop while she runs down the street! Multi Tasker!

Love momma and poppa.
