Back to a Work Week!!

Aunt Kathy had to go back to school today, so no more long mornings talking to her on the couch. That's OK. After the walk yesterday I needed a day to sleep. When Uncle Steve came home we headed upstairs. I got to keep watch out the back window. All I could see was snow. Uncle Steve said there was 8 to 12 inches in our yards. He had to shovel another path for me in the backyard. The Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steve went to the Guthrie for the preview of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" They were all excited about it. There are 9 actors in the play that were trained at the Guthrie/U of M BA program. I am not sure what that means, but they thought it was pretty cool. All I know is that between going to that and shoveling snow, Uncle Steve did not have time to make a movie about me. Now if they wanted to see acting, then that is where the action is!!!
Why is Mom kissing that big, brown, furry thing with the gigantic lips? Should I be jealous? Well, you look like you are having a good time.
Do you know when you are getting back on Sunday? It is Aunt Kathy's birthday, and Uncle Steve wants to make plans.
Love,
The Speckster

Hi Speck-

We figured you might be interested in why momma was kissing that big brown fuzzy thing with the big lips. The answer: She has to. She's been married to him for 13 years! Ha. Ha. Too bad AK is back to work, you'll just have to guard the house extra hard now that it's just you. Those hounds still want to take it over.

Well, we made it to Luxor. Today has been a pretty uneventful day. We slept in and checked out of the hotel around Noon, walked across the Nile and had lunch. Then we caught a ride to the airport and here we are. Luxor is further south and more tropical. The place we're staying kind of feels like a Mexican resort. It certainly doesn't feel like the Four Seasons, but that's o.k. Tomorrow we're off to check things out. Tell US and AK that we actually get in on Saturday at around 1:00 if all flights are on time.

Give them a big camel like kiss for us and say thanks again!

Love Mom and Dad.
