Helping Uncle Steve with His Dinner

Hi Speck,
Thanks for helping Uncle Steve with his dinner. I bet he "accidentally drops" lots of things when you're around. Today we went for a long walk and saw lots of Italian doggies. They have drinking fountains along the sidewalks just for the dogs here! Il cane italiano e spoiled rotten!

We walked through the Roman Forum today. That's a bunch of old stuff that you'd probably smell Caesar's dog on. We saw where they cremated him afer those Brutes (get it) got him. We also saw lots of old parts of temples and the Colosseum where they had gladiators and wild animals fight it out to the death (kinda like when you and the monkey went at it last year when we were gone).

We also saw the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps (which we still don't get the big deal, but did get our cardio workout for the day on them). Good thing too, because we had a three course meal followed by gelato for dessert. Oh Speckie, this stuff is so good!

Okay, have a good night and be a good puppy for your auntie and uncle. We're off to the Vatican tomorrow to see the Sistine chapel and a whole bunch of art.

Thanks again Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steve! Ciao bellas!

Love, Mom and Dad
