More Lap Time!!!

I don't care if you need to go to the bathroom! This is lap time!!!

Glad to hear you will be coming home tomorrow. Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steve are great, but I miss my mom and dad. There wasn't much rain today, but it was so windy we decided to stay home. See you tomorrow.

A "Taking It Easy" Saturday

Bunnies! I Dare You to Show Your Face!

We had a nice relaxing Saturday here. Uncle Steve said I was peddling in my sleep on his lap. I must have been dreaming about the bunnies. I know they are there, but I can't get at them. If it weren't for the darn leash, I bet I could crawl through that hole and scare a few up. Yep, that is what I was dreaming about. Aunt Kathy was about to put me in the bath tub when I woke up. Good thing I woke up. She wasn't very happy about how dirty I got. I guess now I understand why I am on the leash in the backyard. A dream bath is better than a real bath any day.

Uncle Steve was reading a really big book, so I could sleep in his lap for awhile, then sleep on the floor when I got too warm, then go get a drink of water, then get back in Uncle Steve's lap, and repeat the cycle all over again. For variety, I would look out the back window sometimes. I have decided that rainy days have their advantages.

See you soon. Love,

Another Rainy Day in Minnesota

Rainy Days Make for Good Pig Chasing Days!!!

The weathermen keep telling us that all this rain is good for us, and that we really need it. However, I need to take a walk to keep my girlish figure. Even an Uncle Steve walk would seem like a good idea at this point. The weekend sounds like the weathermen are going to a lot happier than I am. Uncle Steve laid on the fall and kept throwing the pig for so I could burn off some of the energy I built up taking all these naps. Wh0 says pigs can't fly!

Your trip sounds unbelievable. I like the part about the dogs. Let Uncle Steve know whether or not he should take me to our house on Monday morning, Monday afternoon, or whether you will pick me up here. Uncle Steve gets home about 3:30 pm on Monday afternoon, but he needs to leave about 6:00 pm.

Where Did Everybody Go?

The Pig Is Mine!!!

Well, I got lots of rest today. It was Uncle Steve's day to work late and Aunt Kathy went out to dinner, so I saw them just long enough for me to get outside, and then it was time for another nap. Uncle Steve went downtown after work to sign up for the Twin Cities Marathon, so he got home really late. We had to play with the pig to make up for him being gone so long. Now it's bedtime. We may have to have some late night excursions to make up for my being alone so long.

Your trip sounds spectacular, but why are you going to a place with an active volcano? Uncle Steve was trying to tell me that is was the volcano that buried the people, but I told him you would not go to such a place because that would be too dangerous. Right? Hope everything works out with the passports.

I Have Uncle Steve Trained!!!

No Wonder Everyone Says I Look So Cute When We Go on a Walk!!!

I finally have Uncle Steve trained to take me on a decent length of a walk. We just go over to Wolfe Park and walk around the little pond and back again. It is not too far, but there are still enough people to notice how cute I am. The picture above is Exhibit A. Gas is getting close to $3.00 a gallon, so Uncle Steve is reluctant to drive over to Lake Harriet and I have convinced him I a too old to walk that far. Also, Uncle Steve is getting home later on the days that he is supposed to get home early, so there is less time for a walk. It is supposed to rain the weekend, so I think I am safe. If necessary, some of the stuffed animals can die to give me my needed exercise. (You are right about all the treats I am getting out of Uncle Steve.)

Your trip justs sounds better and better. Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steve told me how much fun it is to ride the train in Europe. They said the service is just something you do not see in the U.S. (Although I am getting great service out of my U.S. I even have him trained to lift me onto the bed.)

Sunny Day in Minnesota

I Thought I Saw A Golden Retriever!

The weather here today was absolutely gorgeous. Sunny, low 70's, slight breeze. Unfortunately, Uncle Steve got home late tonight, so we just went for a short ride in his car to take some movies back and get something at the Starbuck's Drive Through. The lady at the window said I was really cute. The whip cream on Uncle Steve's drink looked really good, but him kept his hand on it the whole way home. I tried to tell him to put both hands on the steering wheel, but he said that his mother didn't raise no fool. I guess she didn't.

As you can tell from the picture, Aunt Kathy's and Uncle Steve guest room is a great place to check out the back yard. Tonight I could see both the golden retrievers and the basset hounds. Uncle Steve started to put the shade down, but I gave him a look that let him know that would not be a good idea. So he got in the Lazy Boy with me, but he said he would not bark at them with me. So I barked twice as much to make up for his lack of effort. I love spring!!!

Rainy Day In Minnesota

Yes, It is Dinnertime!

We finally got some much needed rain on Monday night. There was actually some thunder and lightning with it. It kept us from going on an Uncle Steve walk, or any other kind of walk for that matter. So Uncle Steve and I kept the Lazy Boy busy. Your trip just sounds neater and neater. We are all looking forward to seeing the pictures you take.
